Analog PBX and Telephone Setup

Analog PBX (Private Branch Exchange) is a telephone system used in traditional office settings that allows multiple lines to be connected to a single central telephone system. It allows employees to make internal and external calls, transfer calls, and access voicemail. A telephone setup in an analog PBX system typically involves connecting the PBX to a telephone company’s landline and setting up extensions for each employee’s telephone. An analog telephone, also known as a landline telephone, is connected to the PBX through an analog line and can be used to make and receive calls. The PBX also usually includes a switchboard or receptionist’s phone for directing incoming calls to the correct extension. With this setup, businesses can have a centralized telephone system without having to pay for individual phone lines for each employee.
